With the torrential rain in London (they haven't even had their traditional 1 day of sunshine!) London's Luton airport was flooded, and those catching Monarch flights (Monarch are based in Luton) had to swim half the way - there was road chaos outside the airport with late passengers being diverted onto later Monarch flights.
