but it all amounts to nothing if we decide not to write

defending our rights!
power to the people!

with our brothers and our sisters from many far-off lands,

now i long for the morning when they realize
their unjust actions will be blogged
but who'll defend the blogger who cannot organize,
when the Eskom power goes off at Koeberg?

yeah, money speaks for money!
the devil for his own!
who stands to speak for the skin and the bone?
what a comfort to the downtrodden, a voice for the land,
yeah, there is power in the blogland!
