Atlasjet Airline flight hijacking
Breaking news: An Atlasjet airline flight was hijacked en-route from Norther cyprus to Istanbul, on the 18th August 2007. The Atlasjet flight was 2 hours into its journey when hijackers tried to force their way into the cockpit, and steer the plane to Tehran. The pilots refused and landed the plane in Antalya.

easyJet flights - pay extra for luggage
easyJet flights have just got a bit more expensive. From 1 October 2007 you will have to pay extra for each piece of checked-in luggage on an easyJet flight. easyJet claim they are doing this for the environment (by discouraging luggage, there's less weight on the plane and therefore less CO2 emissions).
