It is a lazy sunny Sunday in Cape Town. The fires have burnt out/been put out. The sky is blue - no clouds. In addition to the European tourists who flock here at this time of year (if you go to the beach or visit the pubs there are many foreign languages), there must be a number of tourists who came here for the J&B Met (an annual horse race) - enjoy it - today is as good as Cape Town gets.
In yesterday's blog (and no, I don't plan on this becoming a daily write); I wrote about Yzerfontein and the site
http://www.yzerfontein.infoAnother site I love is
http://www.thefamilia.infoThis site contains loads of photos of my family, and holidays we have been on. Including our trip to Saint Helena Island and our recent weekend to Mabula Lodge, north of Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Wow, the fires in Cape Town have been hectic. I've been sitting in the flat, with a clear view of the various fires buring away and the helicopters rushing to dump water on it.
Since this is my first blog, a few things about me. I love Yzerfontein. My wife and I visited there a while back and on that weekend I bought a plot at Pearl Bay Heights. I've set up a website about the place you can visit it at:
http://www.yzerfontein.infoThe site provides information about Yzerfontein, local news, its climate, fauna, flora, history, accommodation, beach, surf, Dassen Island and property. You can use the sight to list property which you want to sell (commission free).
